It's Fast and It's Food, But It's Not Fast Food: Cheers to Organic To Go!
Last week my coworkers and I were lucky enough to receive a platter of sandwiches (so many varieties, perfect for our group) and a platter of dessert trays (lemon bars, the most exquisit carrot cake, and chocolate brownie cake!), compliments of Organic To Go. It was a welcome alternative to frozen lunches, local cafe fare, and leftovers. Organic To Go is located at Museum Square on Wilshire, and delivers, with a not-so-bad delivery charge, to places like the Bermuda Triangle of Culver City (where I work). Better yet, there are a few locations in Los Angeles and Orange County, and since the company is based in Seattle, Washington, there are some locations there as well!
Let's face it: the allure of fast food is its promise of speed. I've not had any common fast food in years...with the exception of In and Out Burger, for reasons I'll explain in another post (and even then, it's every few months that I patronize the place). Organic to Go has this as its commitment: Our first goal is to provide delicious, wholesome and convenient meals and our second is to help organic farmers and manufacturers to create an expanding demand and market for their products so we may all benefit from healthy food and a healthy environment! With its use of biodegradable plastics for its containers, and its variety of menus (picnics! desserts! salad lunchbags! For Fall: hot soups! and so much more), what's not to love? Please join me in supporting this amazing alternative to fast food. Thanks to the generosity of Organic To Go, I'm now an avid supporter of this organically-minded, health-principled and delicious company!
